YOUR DREAM SCHEME
East facing living room mostly used throughout the daytime
When a room faces east it means it will receive the most natural sunlight as the sun rises in the morning, after which it will lose the sunlight altogether for the rest of the day. Morning light also tends to be quite cool so for this room you'll want to opt for colours with less grey in them; shades that won't become washed out or cold in the fading light. Greens with a yellow base work really well in east-facing rooms as they warm up the room, versus blues which can feel too cold. Keep the space feeling calm and tranquil with a muted colour palette and patterns inspired by nature.
